1970s Yearbooks

During the 1970s, La Sierra Academy continued to flourish as a close-knit Adventist day school serving students across the elementary and secondary grades. Campus life was shaped by classroom learning, competitive sports programs like the popular flagball games, outstanding fine arts like the renowned Delta Mu Chorale, spiritual activities, friendships, and school traditions. As students moved through each division, the academy’s identity became increasingly rooted in the shared experience of growing up together in faith, learning, and service.

Archive note: From 1970 through 1972, the available annuals represented Grades 7-12. Beginning in 1973, the high school yearbook represented Grades 9-12. By 1975, the archive includes separate Grades K-8 and Grades 9-12 yearbooks, reflecting a clearer division between elementary/junior high and high school student life.
