HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMICS
La Sierra Academy & La Sierra University Partnership
La Sierra Academy offers a dual credit program that allows eligible high school students to enroll in college-level courses via La Sierra University prior to high school graduation. Credit earned can be simultaneously applied to high school and college transcripts. The credits may be transferred to other colleges or universities, depending on that particular institution’s requirements.

Math
Start with a strong mathematics foundation for your career and complete your basic math requirement for college.
Courses:
- MATH 121: College Algebra
- MATH 122: Trigonometry
- MATH 131: Calculus I
Prerequisites for any of these classes:
Suggested foundational courses are high school Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, and Pre-calculus. MATH placement will be determined from placement test score administered by the university.
Music Ed & Technology
Explore your interest in music production and learn from top musicians in their field.
Courses:
- MUET 101: Intro to Music Theory
- MUET 105: Foundations of Audio and Music Technology
- MUET 185: Electronic Music Systems
- MUET 205: Music Appreciation

World Languages

Level II or Level III must pass an oral placement test.
