PFE “Partnering for Eternity”

What is Partnering for Eternity?

The Partnering for Eternity (PFE) Scholarship Program has been helping cultivate relationships between mentors and students at Seventh-day Adventist academies and elementary schools since 2006. The goal of the program is for students and mentors to create intergenerational relationships and experience the blessing of service. In the process, students receive scholarship for their tuition and mentors receive the gift of friendship and ability to bestow their knowledge and skills on to a younger generation, hopefully making an impact for years to come.

Who can join Partnering for Eternity?

This Scholarship Program is available to K-12th grade students.

How can my child(ren) join Partnering for Eternity?

The student and their parent(s)/guardian must attend orientation in order to be considered. You will then be given an application to join the program. Once all documents are received you will be notified of the results.

What is a Senior Mentor?

A Senior Mentor is a non-relative that your child will have to meet in person, once a week for one hour.

What will they do during this hour?

There is so much for them to do. Here are a few examples: reading, golfing, helping with homework, coloring, puzzles, throwing the trash away, watering the grass, the list goes on.

How much Scholarship money will my child receive?

Your child will receive $25 once a week for approved visits only. (If a student leaves the school with a PFE credit to his/her account, that money may not be paid out in cash)

What does this Scholarship money go to?

The money your child will receive will be posted to your students tuition once a month. (Scholarship money cannot go towards expenses such as books, classroom supplies, uniforms, etc…)
